the med-man method

remove the bottom 2/3 of every keeper branch then immediatly train them sideways with screens...

some trays and fluorescent lighting is all thats needed to find the best of the best of their class to advance into the bloom room...
uniformity is the key to success in any garden...
plant massages make for hearty plants that support bigger flowers, transfer more nutes and activates the plants immunity to get the best from them and you...

the med-man method: is a very practical approach to growing that focuses on doing as little work and using as little energy as possible to gain the biggest and most potent strains possible. it is all based on the philosophy of the survival of the fittest and that a penny of prevention and prediction are worth a pound in solution. it has taken me over 18 years of practice to master my growers touch, and about 10 years to master the med man method(mmm for short). when growing less plants it is of the utmost importance to have uniform plants, to get the highest yields of the highest quality.

i have found that the better your seed stock and mothers are, the faster the clones root, the less veg time is needed, the more resistant to parasitic attack and the bigger more high quality yields in less time are achieved. so that is where we will start:

MOTHERS: is where the mmm begins....under optimal conditions, you would like to have a perfect phenotype of a mother plant from seed, lets call her a s-1 mother of 2 true breeding kinds. so the seed stock is f-1 hybrid, and your mother is kept from seed, so when you take clones, they are infused with f-1 hybrid vigor from the original s-1 stock mom. f-1 hygrids grow bigger, faster and more potent flowers. they will root faster and be immune to most pests if not stressed.

CLONES: all the clones should be taken from all the strong, top leads. they should be thick, sturdy and exposed to the most light. this will ensure that uniformity is achieved in rooting times and final keeper plants for the bloom room. only use 1 s-1 mom for the process, unless multiple strains are your objective, as it is in my case always, but thats me.

always take at least 4x more clones then needed. so if you need 15 finishing plants to bloom, yake at least 60 cuts, i would take a full tray of 72-78, but 4 x is perfect.

take the first 50% of cuts that root. they will already be vegging in the rooting tray and look healthier with new growth, and will be very easy to spot and pluck. throw away the rest of unrooted and or not keeper clones that arent as vigorous if you dont need them for anything else.

root the keeper clones (that are c-1 from a f-1 mother uoc) and root them in 3 inch rockwool. i love 3 inch because you can pack 21 per tray, and they are close so they all fight with one another to space. after 10-14 days cull away keep the tallest, strogest specimens for your big room. put the other have away just incase any die in your bloom room or veg room depending on how your space is. always keep the spares in case.

once the plants become established in the new space, start the loving process.

med man massages - once you have your keeper plants, that should be 25% of what you started with, the plant massaging begins. stroke ans twist and bend the branches. dont break them or snap them. this "loving" not only energises your plants and increase vigor, but it will boost the plants immune system. this makes bigger thicker stalks and plants, i like to force branches against gravity to form knuckles at the internodes. it also allows more light and air into the canopy. the massages should be performed 2 times a day in veg(even rooted clones if you are gentle) and 1 time per day in the first 14 days of bloom (3 weeks for longer finishers).

miticides/pesticides/fungicides - the mother should be treated with pesticide a day or two before cuts are taken, then the plants should be dipped at every transfer period; dunked completey until in their final homes. then a weekly or biweekly prevention spray until 2 weeks into bloom.

pruning and topping - smaller plants should be topped at 8 branches. then at 2-3 weeks bloom only the best 4-6 branches should be left to finish (just like the cloning step_keep the best cull the rest). the mmm calls for 2/3 of every keeper branch to be removed at 2-3 weeks of bloom. allowing the most energy into buds where the most light will be, while increasing air circulation and decreasing places where molds and bugs thrive. big trees should not be topped, and allowed to grow as tall as possible uoc.

shock flowering - give plants 36 hours of dark to get flowers popping in as little as 7 days, 10 days on average.

screens or cages - vertical lighting plants should have a tomato or best to have a farm fence to train branches sideways to increase yield, air flow, light penetration and quality. cannabis loves being trained sideways. top lighting set ups should add a screen after the 2-3 week bloom prune and all branches forced sidways. so vscrog for bare bulb side lighting and scrog for flat gardens.

h202 - add hydrogen peroxide at 1.6ml/litre to every drop of water the plants use from seed to harvest @ 1.6 ml/litre

my clients last run in this space netted 20 pounds of mediocre kush. was very red and dark looking.... the dg secong last grow got 42. the kcc got 48 last grow with 50 plants and weve dropped the plants numbers and i will be around more often this run and i will hope to break 50 pounds of med grade marijuana.......i hope you all enjoy......

although the plants are doing their thing during the dark, and the leaves are not in use and drooping, they did suffer a lil bit of under feeding coupled with over watering......

these are 2 weeks and look like 3 weeks already because of the 36 hours of shock flowering....
so 2 weeks into bloom and 2/3 of evey branch is removed to dispose of popcorn and increase air flow and light penetration and make parasites lives harder to get established....
this is the check valve on the return pump.. to prevent any water returning into the return rez.....
i always cover all my containers for many reasons. they make the room look/feel cleaner, they reflect usable light to the plants, keep root zone cooler. all that with some plastic........
in the rez is the circulation hose that sucks nutrient solution form the bottom right of the rez (pictured below) and sends it back to the furthest most far corner of the raz to get amazing mixing/aeration......the 2 inch tube is the return from the second half of the brain which sits in the middle of the room pictured before.....the thrid line is water source, which mixes rain water and ro water 50/50.......
then the pump timer rely which turns on the feed and turns off the drain and vice versa respectfully. i simple digital timer controls the pump relay in the ballast box.....

1- research the web or anywhere for info on how marijuana helps you and your ailments.keep a record of the origin of the strain that helps you most, and why. keep a journal of your use and how it compares to the study refernce material.

2- avoid eating anything artificial:aspartame, gmo foods, flouride, colors, msg, non "organic", processed, flavours etc etc read the goddam labels people

3- start a form of meditation. i recommend falun gong aka falun dafa. but anything will do. keep a medical journal of how it helps you mind, body and soul. anything will do from tai chi to seated stillness.

4- eat only the rawest most natural("organic") forms of food. the closer to the sun in the food chain the better. avoid any corporate meats, especially chicken. do your best. if you realy are sick, you will want to feel better, no?

5- find out the best way to take the cannabis that helps you the most:vapor and eating are prefered to doctors, smoking, butter, budder whatever. keep a record in your personal med Journal.

6- most doctors believe they know all there is to know about the universe and peoples biology(post secondary indoctrination), except cannabis. they are told its harmfull, addictive and just evil. this is where your own research, studies and proof come into play

7- read "the medical mafia"
take all your photocopies, research material, your journal and a balls out attitude to your doctor. make sure to have alll of your mmap forms filled out by you minus their own signature.

8- face your doctor with confidence, will, intent and determination, like you are talking to achild, because this is their knowledge about this ancient medicine. tell them about and show them your documentation on centering your diet, mind body and soul with meditation, and show the proof and studies of your own and scientists on how your particular starin suits your needs, quoting from your journal. DO NOT FLINCH IN YOUR CONVICTIONS.

9- explain that this starin, coupled with all your other life changes are your equation for well being, abd that you want control over the medicine you take by growing it yourself, and that as a canadian you have a human right to this ancient form of naturalk remedy. which will also help in your mind body soul meditation routines. give them the papers and tell them to sign,. that you are healing holistically and need holistic medicine, and reject any synthetic treatments. give them the papers and TELL them to sign. if they wont, you have a human right to a referal to a doctor whom they have to find for you to sign them. if they refuse, you have to tell them you will be forced to take them to the human rights commision courts for breaching your canadian right to marijuana as medicine.

10- with confidence and knowledge on your side, there wont be much more the doctor can do but sign or give you a referal to someone they will.

this is a very vague description of my personal experience. if you give the doctor power over you by asking what they think, you will be rejected, becuase bringing hearsay to a doctor with no proof of it is bogus in the scientific world. doctors perceive pot as stated earlier, so telling them its this wonder drug that cures you alone will not fly. be smart, you are human, take care of business. doctors are just humans with a title. just like anyone else. know your body, take steps to knowing it more, they cannot argue with science and your case studies. - the fact that everything in our daily lives is just a habit. negative behavior relies on routines to stay strong. the best way to shatter bad habits is by removing just one of the many components. the key word here is discipline. self discipline is the foundation of a more meaningfull, and vibrant existance. never believe or tellyourself there is nothing that you can chenge in your life, becuase we all can start or stop anything at the drop of a hat. just focus on your boundlessness, not your limitations, and you can apire to heal or be anything.....

-be cognizant of the fact that it takes the same amount of energy to hurt your self as it does to heal yourself. the impact of self healing is not just going to impact you but the earth as a whole. your relationship with the earth and its inhabitants will send ripples of positivity into a society plagued by self doubt, judgement, drama, violence and aggression. when you choose a more healthy existance, you will realize that you will soon be supporting your wellbeing anfd the wellbieng of others also trying to better this earth. our environment is a product of us, lets do our best to make it more enjoyable experience.......

STEP 1- meditation and exorcise. (stopping the inner chatter)

i strongly urge anyone to do falun gong as it has changed my journey more then any other meditation/traditional exorcise , and falun dafa is also very easy for anyone with a medical condition but anything will do from martial arts to yoga; hiking to the treadmill. get the heart rate up, energy flowing and stopping the internal dialog. i notice a quiet existance is also a peacefull one. meditation calms the mind to allow for a more natural existance, where on can draw his/her colusions from observation not subjectivity.

STEP 2- a natural, raw diet.

things to eat regularly: hemp and all its marvelous forms, organic as possible.whole oats and grains, nuts and fruits and veggies, legumes and beans etc. eat closest to the sun as possible. coffees, teas and spices from organic or fair trade sources.

foods to avoid:READ ALL THE LABELS! everything artificial from sweeteners to presevatives and colours, especially aspartame (nutrasweet), flouride and. if its not real dont eat it. glucose, fructose and white sugars. msg is awful as well. frozen or cold foods. meat of all kinds. animals suffer and waste from animal farms destroy our ecosystem. all genetically modified and altered foods. monsanto soya products contribute to pesticide poisoning and rainforest clear cutting. all commercial coffe and buproducts should be avoided as well. corporate soft drinks are every bad as well.

-drink 600ml-100ml hot fluids in the morning, 1 hour before breakfast. then with every meal. keeping the vital organs warms aids digestion inso rerouting energy the the immune system and glandular and organ health. keeping a hot inner core is so key to healing and helping yourself, and is a very easy thing to do.

STEP 3- intramuscualr stimulation, accupuncture or accupressure.

depending on your ailment, a weekly to bi weekly visit to one of these practitioners will improve your life dramatically

STEP 4 - the tree of life (cannabis) and its million and 1 uses.

finding a strain specific to your condition(s) is very important. some plants and their side effects may be detrimental to you. depressed people should stay away from drowsy sleepy plants, and stick to more energetic and uplifting types, as the opposite is true, hyperactive people shouls stick more stoney plants then cerebral highs in most cases.

sleepy plants- afghanis and norther indian/mountanous variteties are good for sleep, meditative hunger/appetite, nausue etc. not the most social

pain killers - hashplants (kushes from afgahnistan.pakistan). pain killing properties of these types are amazing. the edge taken off from head, muscle, ligament, back aches. any damaged or torn joints, tendons and ligaments. the effect is strong, and longlasting. lokk for the more fuely/hashy/skunky specimens.

this is the crack jack. a 10 week sativa phenotype of the legendary strain jack herer. my other karma jack cut finishes in a week or two less.......... the crack jack cut grows very similar to the headband, and blooms amazing neon green rock hard nuggets, giving it amzing bag appeal. this clone will yield huge, especially with trees, but performs well under any setting or grower. it smells like skunky/lemon pine sol/terpenpine. the energy this plant gives to the user is long lasting, often lasting into the morning the next day. world class plant........
med mans headband(bobby ocean cut). this is mostly leafless, squat budder. throw away the scissors folks, cuz these are labour friendly. we always have to keep the patient in mind. they are great as trees for their amzing vigor when vegging, they stratch out really nice, and have little veggitation to allow maximum bud ripening even deep into the canopy......
i took new clones for the grow, as the others got too big and stressed in their beer cups. we will be running some of med mans headband and crack jack plants. both lokk awseome at 70 days even. especially with a nice 5 days of dark and ice around day 65
both lines ran nicely into one end of the room, where both a/c's will be utilized...........
this is the second sink, same cold water a/c bypass....... complete with flow valve.....
becuase both sink serve as drains and cleaning stations, our brilliant plumber tapped directly to the water source for the a/c's, as to keep the tubs ready for unadultered use........
whilst our plumber finished up the second sink and pex for the 2 a/c's, i opted to cut 24 dmt cages. 4 feet tall and 6x6 squares. they train braches down for the first 1/2 of the grow, then hold up the buds when they start bending and breaking........

the second sink is set up in the hallway inbetween the rooms. now the pex has to be ran and connected to the a/c's.........next to the sink is the 330 feet rool of farm fence, which make our vscrog(vertical screen of green) dmt's......

we lined the 100gal res with ploy then opened 3 dirt bails in it at a time, broke them down and filled the totes. it went qiuck and easy with just 2 people........
finished off the floor to make it an official lab.....
we may end up polying the rest of the floor, wel see what happens.....noiw we just need our plumber and swamp chillers, co2 burner and planting is all that will be left.......
side lighting would really heat up the root zone without the reflective poly, why not make use of the extra light and solve the heat issue in 1 simple step......
i took a panoramic shot of the room. the reflective material utilizes all the light, keeps the light out of the clear totes and keeps root zone temps lower. if the totes were black id still wrap them for the other 2 benefits out of the 3 listed......
it took about 11 bails of sunshine mix #4 to fill 35 12 gallon storage totes. once we water and let the "dust settle" we may end up topping off the totes with a litre more of medium to cover any sink holes cuased by trapped air. its key to maintain a solid soil line in the grow....

or, option 2 is to start 24 clones and veg for 8-10 weeks and take 34 new clones at 4-5 week intervals. we'll get to that soon.

it was a shame to see all this effort wasted, thats where i come in ;-). the key is to have a win win mentality, where every loss really is a gain when the eyes to see and ears to hear it. our electrician has viewed the site and we think it will take 4-12 hours to get all the electrical done. we have to move the timer, make a ceiling grid of 2x4's to attach the cable and ballasts to, add a couple more timed boxes for the extra ballasts, wire all the boxes and sockets, and lay out the lighting schematics so we know what we are placing and where.

medicine man bc medical marijuana grow op

i call this type of set up "the feng shui: zen garden", my other medical hydro system (posted under medical grow rooms post) is called the feng shui:waterfall garden". the room is roughly 20 feet by 20 feet. each bucket gets about 18 inches of space. a central air conditioner sits outside with the fan and cooler in the room on the cieling. a 8 burner co2 generator will also be utilized. the room will be fully enclosed in my popularised "perfect broom" whom "master growers" and shop owners still tell me plants will die without intake out take fans. little do they know who they are trying to reason with. each bucket recieves a 1/4 inch spegehtti tube connected to a hole in the basket and a 1/2 inch Mainline from the nutient resovoir. at the base of the basket there is a 3/4 inch thruhull fitting connected to a 3/4 inch low pressure hose drain back to the nutients resovoir. this allows each bucket to maintain a 1 inch mini res in each bucket, in case of power or pump failure, the plants will stay alive at least 24-48 hours before dieing, unlike nft which if there is a failure , plants can parish in hours. stay tuned for more of my own mm grow op.

these are moms or cuttings from moms used over the last year. here stand the 3rd breeding cycle of "bud capital medical marijuana'' seed co. there is ricky simpsons aka bc deisel, pure la kush, pure purple kush, pain killer, purple pain killer, mk ultra, white boy, white widow, island sweet skunk, green giants, afgahni kush, kryptonite, afgooey and pepe le pue. all of these outrages lines will now be crossed with the super mk ultra, imagine the crosses which will be created!!!

this is a super mk ultra male, not neede for the mother room, is placed outside with all my old moms in mid summer to cross pollinate all the other supermom genetics in the great outdoors the way nature intended. the pollen may also be stored indefinitly for future breeding. this specimens genetics are meant to be kept alive, it actaully smells stronger then the super mk ultra female kept inside, its also twice as big which is normal for male plants.

this is a beautiful super mk ultra, superior to her sisters and brothers, this is the plant you want to keep for clone production. its dense internodes, compact growth, dark green leaves and extreme aroma(over the rest respectfully) make it a champion mother specimen. sitting next to it is an orange crush "keeper" female as well, if you can see how compact and vigorus she looks too. below too the left are 10 of the soon to be legendary c99 seedlings awaiting more firm culling from the author.

once your strain "comes of age" they should aotomatically show sex at the intersection of a side branch/leaf stem/mainstock. femals show a tiny "raindrop" flower with 1 or 2 white hairs coming out of its apex(top). forcing flowering or increase vegitive dark periods will also force plants to show sex if you are in a rush. discard the males or keep 1 if you can for breeding, which is what i do with my mother cycling:) keep the healthiest,most vigorus, stinkiest, sturdiest female and flower or throw away or breed the plants which dont qualify for your mother space.

step 5- when the seedlings are vigorus and pop thru the bottoms of pucks, transplant them into the medium best suited for your situation, in this case, my favorite 3" stonewool cubes with holes fit the pucks perfectly. the 5 far right are the mk ultra, the 3 in the middle are the g13 crosses and the 3 on the left are cali orange:) they will need stronger light and 1/2 strength fertilizer now. i like these cubes because plants can easily be grown up to 24 inches if properly maintained. its best to use just enough grow medium at every stage of growth because you never know which plants will make it to the final mother room. ei- dont start 100 seeds in 100 20 gal containers. its baby steps with seeds or you are wasting, time/money and work. all my mk ultras have sprouted and grown equaly with vigor, so when they start growing, they all made it to the 3".

step 4- once seeds crack thru the shell, i like using 100% organic and eco freindly coco coir pellets(pucks) to sprout the little seedlings. soak the pellets in 1 litre water, 3ml b-52, 2ml hyox, 85 degrees F, ph 6.0-7.0. all 5 mk ultra( at the back of this tray) cracked within 24 hours and were placed tap root down into the coco pucks about 1/2 an inch beneath the surface. other great mediums to sprout seeds are peat pucks and sunshine mix/pro mix. within 48 hrs of soaking the seeds , all popped through the pucks to meet the light and start growing. master tip- alot of seeds suffocate themselves sprouting 2 ways: 1-the seeds are too hard to crack 2- a layer of "skin" or the embryonic sack that holds the plant in the seed doesnt come off with the shell and stunts or kills the seedling. to resolve this matter , remove shell and "skin" once they break the surface to give them the advantage they need to survive. the g13 diesel and gigabud sprouted another 12 hours later:) the 3 other seedlings are cali orange:)

step 3- germination- in 1 litre of water, add 2ml of 30% hydrogen peroxide and 3 ml pf b-52.
place seeds in the solution and place in a warmer area ie- above a fridge, on a heat mat etc... here are my 5 coveted mk ultra feminised seeds from th seeds:) they should start cracking in 12-72 hrs, depending on variety and freshness.

step 2- getting the seed-. seeds are legal in canada, but i prefer to buy direct from the breeder if possible for these reasons: its cheaper, they send you free stuff, the seeds will be the freshest, the genes are guaranteed, the mail is the safest form of deliver. if mail order doesnt work for you and you live in bc, go to vancouver seeds bank or kind seed co for some of canadas and hollands best varieties. pictured below are 1 g13 diesel, 1 g13 gigabud, 1 g13 purple lady and 2 g13 quicksilver. all free from th seeds with my mk ultra order.

step 1- finding the genes- research as much as you can thru photos books, seeds banks, the web and personal stories from growers to find the seed that best suites your needs. all masters will usually go to amsterdam because you can smoke the bud, see the plant growing and talk to the breeders who designed the gene line. taste, high, look, smell, medical quality, price, quality, flowering time, height, your grow space and resources will all help you determine your choice. pictured above are 5 free seeds from th seeds i just got in the mail. the 5 feminised i ordered were the aaaa strain - mk ultra. this is one of my top ten strains( and all other smokers i know) due to the fact that no matter how much you smoke you cannot get immune, the high is a heavy head and body stone, it smells like a skunks ass and tastes like the canadian tundra( pine cones). a truely medical miracle. on the streets outside of the medical community, this strain fetches 250-300 and ounce, for a reason, and thats in canada, the indoor bud capital of the world:)

white widow/ afgoo and bcgc with bcnl's producer

these bud capital green crack are realy starting to form their dense, squat and girthy buds. they've been staked to prevent any leaning in on others space because of their heavy tops. im very stoked on the progress been made with dirt in the producers. its more work and dirty, but the product will be sweet soil grown goodness, with no muck ups on the rookies behalf. soon ill shall start a 100% organic dirt producer with more f-1 hybrids from bud capital medical marijuana seeds.

these afgoo's are gona be done about 3-7 days before the bcgc it seems. giving plants a little extra time adds wieght, extra sweet smell and taste, and extra flushing

so here they are the day he starts flushing, i think day 30 or so. both varieties finish in 40-50 days max, and ive always notice jump in yield and better smell and taste if flushed for at least 2 full weeks beforw harvest. both plants just started showing hair browning, which is a good indicator in soil to start cleansing. all nugs even at the bottom are becoming thick and sticky. this is crocks first time even seeing plants in person, so t-5 were left out of this project. i beleive my diagnosis for next crop is 45 plants(9 by 5) and 4 t-5 sunblasters.

the bud capital afgoo exhibits a 100% indica next to its hybrid neighbours, staying shorter and thicker.

the bud capital green crack show f-1 vigor and "skunk" characteristics lie a super stretch in the first 2 weeks of flowering

he decided to remove the fans leaves to allow light to penetrate the canopy.

here is the grow at 16 days 12/12 including the 36 dark hours of shock flowering. i believe he vegged for 6 days, 3 too many imho.

soak the bed until its evenly moist and try to space the kiddos evenly in the bed, each strain to their respective sides. i think the bud capital afgoo is left and bud capital green crack right. once the bed dries from the first water, plants are fed 1st week flower mix and shocked with 36 hrs darkness. crock said some plants doubled in mass during this 36 hrs. hes using advanced nutrients 2 part, big bud, b52.

line the res with poly, fill level with your fave dirt mix. he used pro-ix hp.

my buddy "c-rock" just got a pro, and prefers organic herb, we had a brutal heat wave when he bought the box so i told him to do a dirt grow with the sea of green method with 50 plants.

day 66- day 49 flower- these nugs are fat, dense and coated with crystals, white widow is amazing.

day 66- day 49 flower- with overdrive these buds start shooting(clawing) out in all directions.

day 66- day 49 flower- 10 more days and this nug will meet its maker.

day 66- day 49 flower- this is the top of a side branch, the door of the producer keeps it upright, cuz it falls when its open.

day 66- day 49 flower- 7 more days of water then 3-4 days of dark n ice:) these ones realy came back from the water logging!

day 59- day 42 flower- look at this lil piggy, was one of the more stunted plants and looks like will still get 21-28 g from here at least. notice how fat the bottom buds are from the t-5 sunblasters:)

day 59- day 42 flower- notice how the tops are "clawing", this is thanks to the the explosive nature of overdrive from advanced nutrients.

day 59- day 42 flower- this is one of the top colas, this thing is glistening.

day 59- day 42 flower- add 100ml of mother earth tea bloom and 62.5 ml liquid carboload in 12.5 gallons for next 7 days. maintain ph at 5.6.

day 52- day 35 flower- that one in the back was stunted worse then the others, and still grew a decent single stalk kola, perfect for sea of green systems

day 52 - day 35 flower- they don't call this the white widow for nothin, this nug should also double in mass the next 2 weeks

day 52- day 35 flower- white widow- this still young kola is already 8 inches long and should at least doulbe in size in the next 2.5 weeks.

day 52- day 35 flower- white widow- these vigorus ladies are stil exploding in height and girth, this is their last week of overdrive before flushimg comenses.

day 45-day28 flower- look at the bud sites! covering every square inch of the plant! thanks to the superior nutes from advanced nutrients, state of the art grow cabinets from bc northern lights and cutting edge genetics from arjan @ greenhouse seeds makes for very rewarding results for beginners and pros alike. i'd like everyone to know that the producers(and other bc northern lights boxes) are the best for controlled experiments for breeding seeds, testing nutrients and foliar feeds, lighting and other aspects of growing in controlled environments, and growing out moms and seeds for new stock:) they take up little space and give great results for scientific study. with 1 male you can pollinate 17 other females of like or new genes with over 1000 seeds per plant per breeding session, unbelievable. just wait and see what "medicine man seeds" will be releasing:)

day45- day28 flower- they aren't called white widow for nothing. after 4 weeks of budding, most of the fan leaves coated with tall standing trichomes:)

day 45-day 28 flower- the widows are really back now, they grew an average of 1/2 an inch a day last week. the flowers are getting dense and are covering all the branches. they started the overdrive this week ( check purple kush recipe). still a bit bumbed that i mucked up in the beginning but it looks like now they'll be giving back 3/4 of their potential, which is nothing to complain about.

day 38- day 21 flower. the white widows have rebounded awesome and are now making up for lost growth. its a shitty pic but they are about twice as big as last week. the feeding is week 3 again. if you can see in this and last weeks pics, some babies got so water logged that they haven't even grown since day 1 flower.

day 31- day 14 flower .i'm getting a little disappointed with these ladies because things were so perfect till i started flowering. if you decide to grow sea of green or veg with 12hrs cfl 12hrs hps, unplug the water pump and use only when needed. these white widows got overfed and water logged and now they are extremely stunted and a shadow of their potential. the crop will still be amazing, just not as much as possible. follow week 3 recipe from "purple kush" post. signs of overfeeding are: wilted leaves, pail and/or dropping off lower leaves, no growth, red/purple stems. thank god i only have 4 more weeks till i can get my next chance to make these white widows perfect:)

day 24- day 7 flower- 4 t5 sunblasters are added( these ones are adapted to the cfl socket to use the cabinets timer) and co2 is turned on at flow 4. follow the "purple kush" recipe for the most updated version of my o.g. feeding program. most plants have doubled in size from last week. spray the hyox, isopropyl alcohol fungicide for mildew prevention.

day 17- because these white widows have not seen any hps light( so bright in the bcnl producer and reflective material ) and are going right into flowering, i spray them with 2 parts water 1 part wilt stop from advanced nutirents to prevent any form of light shock and/or wilting from transplanting.

day 17- rinse off all your baskets of h202, roots matter and salt residue, place clones into them, then cut x's into your poly and place transplants in the lid of the res. once in their final home, they are treated with "no wilt" and given 36 hrs of darkness to shock them into budding:)

day 17- after plants are were harvested, res was cleaned and the box was disinfected with 60 ml/litre of 35% h202 and 40 ml/litre 99% isopropyl, let air dry then lay down some black and white poly to double growth rates.

day 17- the roots are dying for a hydroponic res to call home. remember, keeping plants a bit needy is far superior to giving them too much, especially when growing hydroponically.

day 17- this is the same cutting pictured in day 10. it looks more then twice the size!

day 17- when the last crop is cut, soak the baskets in warm water and 100 ml/ 20 litre hyox, soak for 15 minutes

day 17- the roots match the green growth- thick, strong and healthy. make sure all your specimens have rooted thru before placing in the box.

day 17 -7 days later and these beutiful white widows are vibrant, vigorus and have grown enough to force flowering. the box they are going into was harvested today so there will be 0 down time.

day 10- place your new transplants under fluorescent lighting, in this case t-5 sunblasters. this batch of white widows will be rooting outside the bcnl producer because it is still 7 days from harvest. this tray can also be placed in a producer to root, or transplanted directly into the baskets into the lid of the res if need be. optimally you want your babies ready for flowering the day you harvest. 7-10 days under these lights will be perfect for this growers situation.

day 10-once the prop tray with holes is full, place it in a prop tray without holes.

day 10- i notice that gently pushing down and turning the small cube at the same time, like a screw, makes for minor root stress and or breakage :)

day 10-once the plant has been treated for shock and pests, shes ready for her permanent home.

day 10- the next step is to disinfect your cutting/seedling in 30ml/litre hyox, 20ml/litre 99% isopropyl alcohol with a ph of 8-10. master secret- take care of pests or disease when the plants are at their smallest. make sure to dunk and swirl the clone for 5-10 seconds so the whole plant gets treated:)

day 10- take your cutting/seedling and soak the medium in 10ml/liter with 'no shock' from advanced nutrients to eliminate transplant shock and initiate explosive root growth into the new medium, in this case stonewool.

day 10- place all 21 cubes in a prop flat with holes. make sure to squeeze out any excess solution from the cubes before placing them in the tray.

day 10- in 20 litres/5 gallons:90ml b-52, 30ml jumpstart, 30ml hyox, 5.0 ph. soak 21-3 inch w hole rockwool cubes for 24 hrs.

day 10-thick, white roots=strong green plants. i love the white widow(greenhouse seeds) because: it clones so easily(these roots in 10 days), is roughly 40/60 indica /sativa, extremely mold and mildew resistant, bugs don't like it(even thrips in bc), it smells amazing and not overly powerful when growing( unless in huge quantities), will finish in 45-49 days(if needed) in the bcnl cabinets or other hydro set-ups, grows beautiful white buds with no hairs, will do well as a smaller or larger plant, is very vigorous. its a dream to grow and an amazing hybrid specimen.

day 10-i have noticed that the strongest most vigorous specimens root the quickest, veg the shortest and yield the most. this beautiful white widow baby is ready for graduation ahead of the rest of the pack, with 20 others. always wear gloves when working with stonewoll and or chemicals and plants. it will maintain a clean bill of health for yourself and your plants environment.

day 10-here are the first 21 rooted cuttings from a tray of 50 white widows. they've been rooting for 10 days now. only the lightest coat of atami's bcuzz rooting gel was needed to promote faster sealing, callusing and rooting. most rooting gels will also provide these same benefits.

week 3 flowering( follw purple kush post for recipe)- thanks to advanced nutrients, the bcnl producer and greenhouse seeds(the great white shark), i've had to turn off the co2 and will probably be cutting them all in half becuase overall they've doubled in size last week!!! i should have never gave these ladies any veg time, because the combo of advanced nutrients, the state of the art cabinet and the genetics is literelly overgrowing their means!!! i'll make the executive desicion this week:) this is madness.

when the top leaves are facing 45-90 degrees, u know your plants are healthy and viberant.

these great white sharks display extremely tight internodes, lateral branching, thick stocks and dark green leaves. even after 7 days of flowering a very sweet, rich, pungent and skunky smell ( like freshly smoked herb) fills this cabinet and room as i do the weekly res change. it just smells like world class pot:) this same plant is pictured above with a wider angle.

in a week most roots and plants above have more then doubled in size with no co2! the great white shark from greenhouse seeds is one of the worlds most awarded varieties. its heritage is a white widow crossed to a super skunk. it recommended for indoor hydroponic set ups add does very well in "sea of green". a perfect strain for these cabinets. hoprfully we can get her to finish in 45-49 days. we'll see what happens:)

day 7( week 1 flower). thanks to the new model producer and clones taken from seeded moms, these plants grew from an average of 4 inches to 8 i9nches in a week. they could have been flipped to 12/12 at day 4, but i wanted to take them to day 7. what a difference from the week before! master secret: make sure all your moms grew from seed to get the "f-1" cuttings to grow with. i've seen yields increase 15% and crop time shortend by 25% using cuttings from seeded moms versus commercially produced cuttings from generations of replication.

day 49 flower- aside from a bit of powdery mildew that rebounds the last 2 weeks of budding, the buds are 100% white with resin, just glistening:)

day 49 flower- after 7 days of "final phase", empty the res and add 30 litres of ice water and 4 bags of ice, ph balance the water to 5.5-5.8, maintain water at 20-30 fegrees F, turn off all lights and give them 3-7 dqays of darkeness and ice water. this will ripen any unripe 'pop corn' nugs and add ounces of resin to the already ripe nugs:)

day 42 flower- these cabinets allow for such fast ripening that these purple kush plants might not have a chance to turn fully purple- notice the fan leaves just starting:) my friend just got back from cali and said people would spend upwards of 500-600 u.s.d. an ounce for this stuff in the dispensaries!!!!

day 42 flower- with no problems, delays or stress, a perfect feeding schedule and alot of love, this is my second "impeccable" crop in the cabinets and should yield 1-1.5 pounds of some of the worlds finest medicine- the purple kush:)

day 42 flower- these boxes are realy something else! the pks could have been harvested today or day 45 after 3 days of darkness and ice. they are soo coated with the sweetest smelling resin, awwwww, purple kush. today feeding is: 50L res; final phase(advanced nutrients) 125ml, hyox 75ml, ph 5.5, ppm 300, no c02. remove all major fan leaves to 1- stress plants to make more resin 2- allow more light to shaded buds so they fatten and ripen to increase yield and quality 3- allow for increased air flow:)

day 35 flower- these purple kushes average 24 inches and should average 28 grams each bagged and tagged.

day 35 flower- these buds are so sticky its hard to beleive they still have a 7 more days of feeding, 7 more days of flushing and 3 days of shock ripening( darkness and ice). notice how some hairs are browning, its a sure sign that those seed bracts have given up waitng for pollen and will be putting all their energy into producing resin to defend itself from birds, land animals and rain for the duration of its life.

day 35 flower- the buds are exploding, swelling and closing thanks to advanced nutrients' "overdrive".

day 35 flower- plants have stopped growing up and buds will now be closing, fattening, hardening and ripening. even the lower branches have nice nuggets forming. this weeks recipe is the same as last weeks(day 28). if some lower leaves start browning and dieing, just remove them, they now receive little or no light so all their nutes are sent up towards the more illuminated parts of the plant. all in all, this will be another perfect kush grow:)

day 28 flowering- both parents of this cali bred medicine originate in afghanistan. one being from south eastern( hindu kush mountain range) and the other northern (mazar-e- sharif) regions known the world over for producing some of the worlds most potent hashish. by the looks of it, i'm sure it didn't take ancient tribes long to figure out that this plant and its invaluable properties would become one of mankinds best freinds:)

day 28 flower- all you see is clusters of buds thanks to bcnl and advanced nutrients. day 28 flower- with help from overdrive from advanced nutrients, co2 and these coveted purple kush genetics, these flowers will now begin to tighten up and grow outwards more so then upwards. the 'stretching' stage is now complete so that bulking up/ripening may comence. even at this stage in the game, these specimens smell like a skunks ass, one of the signs that this is some of worlds most potent cannabis, and indeed one of the medical communities' most sought after strains. double click the image to see how much resin has formed already.

day 14 flower-a different angle realy shows how vigorus these pure indicas are. kushes are known to realy jump in height the first 2 weeks of flowering before building extremely dense, stocky, pungent buds which usualy resemble nuggets more so then colas. mind you i have personaly grown kush buds averaging the size of my fist hydroponically in my "medical supercropping system". kushes tend to grow as wide as tall with appropriate spacing. the "pk" is a true masterpeice:)

day 14 flower- purple kush is by far one of my all time favorite strains. its effect produces a long and powerful stone felt in the arms, legs and chest. the odor is total kush with a strong coffee undertone. one puff from a joint and the high is immediate, smoke very expensive and dense in the lungs, and a flavour exact to the smell, like most kushes. one of the most medicinal and powerful hybrids known to man. i would like to see a thc content test done to see its percentage:)

day 14 flower- the longer you grow your crops, the higher the ppm in the solution making your roots the same colour as the nutrient solution which is 100% normal. its when a slime, sludge or algea, snotty looking film on the roots and/or bad smell which means your roots are a day or two from fully blown root rot. master tip- add hyox every 2-3 days to prevent rot and super oxygenate your root zone. b-52 over time will always leave darker spots on your roots as well at the surface area of your roots with respect to your average solution level.

day 1- make sure to replace air stones every crop to ensure strong, healthy roots for a big, potent crop. also try your best to keep the stones as centered as possible to keep plants equal in size. master secret- line any growing surface with reflective material and/or sunblaster t-5's. it will decrease your cycle time. increase your yield and save you time and energy with pruning.

ricky simpson. named after a cancer curer on canadas eastern coast. this is a monster haze hybrid, with stocks as hard as nails, and gargantuan colas, innitial bubble gum smell maturing into a sour/skunk/haze/hash aroma.

pian killer. her buds are so rock hard they feel like they've been vacuum sealed. no joke. extreme pungent sour smell, very medicinal taste.

green giant- this plant has all the characteristics of northern cali starins- tropical smell and tatse, little if any orange hairs, neon green buds, extremely coated with trichomes, high yields. she is great for walks or hikes, an afternoon siesta, appetite, reading, morning or daytime. one patient i know uses this one specifically for back pain and bad cramps from pms. its a very social feeling.

green giant- when grown organically this beauty takes on more of a nutty peppery smell and very unique taste and high

green giant- this is a beautiful sative dominant plant that can be cropped at 7 weeks in the bc northern lights boxes, or left for 9 if necessary.

green giant- under optimal conditions the gg can yield 1.25 g per watt. specifically in hydro set ups. one of the best sea of green and/or super cropping plants i've ever seen!

green giant- it smells like a skunks ass when in a bag or pocket, like fresh flowers in the bag or jar, like sweet fruit or bubble gum when the nug is cracked and very bubble yummy on the lips when smoked in a bong and very fresh clean green and sweet in a joint.

green giant- one of the best specimens of a 60/40 sativa/indica.

white widow- this is a shot of the leaf, just coated with perfect tall standing trichomes that glisten like gems. this plant is great for more functional patients. if don't wanna feel burnt out, or need your problem solving skills. very energetic, up, cerebral high. the best for day time routines.

day 21 fower. the yellowing of leaves and stunted plants are do to accidental overwatering. mater secret- when using boxes, make sure that they are as level as possible.the floor here slopes back and left leaving the stonewool submeged in nute solution, stunting growth and ultimatly lowering harvest potential. or, just add less solution to the res to comenstae for slopes.

day 14 flowering. master secret- by this time some plants are noticeably shorter. place the tallest plants around the outside and thos shorter plants in the middle to allow for more even lighting for heavier crops.

day 7 flowering. all four t5 sunblasters are turned on. check the other posts for week 2 formula. master secret-a weekly spray (always with the all lighting off) of 30ml hydrogen peroxide (35%) and 20ml isopropyl alcoohol (99%) per litre of fresh water to prevent and/or treeat fungi and pests. these issues are best prevented if not treated when plants are at their youngest and so smallest. the larger the plant, the harder the problem.

week 1 flower-these pk clones were so strong and vigorous they only needed 4 days of vegitative growth. notice how all smaller plants are placed in the middle and the tallest around the perimeter. this will allow even light distribution for the rest of the cycle.
